help pleaseHelp? stitches on face.. can i wash?
You can wash your hair as long as you do not inadvertently rub on the stitches. If necessary protect the stitches with band aids. Apply Vaseline or similar antibiotic cream to the area of the stitches so the band aid does not stick to them. Also you can GENTLY wash the area of the stitches with moderately hot water and a little liquid soap. In this case it is better to use paper towels rather than a face cloth. A damp paper towel will be less abrasive. Dab gently, do not rub on the stitches. Allow the area to air dry and then apply a small dab of antibiotic cream if you have some. Again, do not rub on the stitches. You want to make sure they stay in until next Tuesday. Some types of stitches are designed to dissolve by themselves, so be extra careful. If you fear they might fall out then just leave them alone. Good luck.Help? stitches on face.. can i wash?
Yes you can wash your face. Get a wash clothe and wet it. Ring out so it is DAMP. then get unscented soap and put the size of a pea on the wash clothe. Gently wash your face and avoid the stitches.

Good luck tuesday!!!
Yes, you can wash your face with stitches. Just expose it to air to dry afterwards. Betadine solution can also make the wound dry faster.
Face can be washed as usual, but avoid friction/rubbing over stitches. Rinse we and pat dry.
