thanksDoes washing your face with sugar help get rid of acne?
I haven't come across any clinical research that it does. However, honey, baking soda, oats and coconut oil are proven to control acne by keeping the pores free-flowing and killing bacteria associated with acne. This method is proven with scientific studies and clinical research from the National Library of Medicine. It works, and there are links to the study in the article.

sugar will cause it
Sort of. The sugar is an exfoliator, so it polishes away dead skin cells. You could just use plain white sugar but I would get a good exfoliator from a drugstore or department store.
I have personally never heard of that.

Honey, baking soda%26amp; water mix, oatmeal, and a few more not coming to mind yes, but never sugar.

I would think brown sugar is the one to use, and if used you making an exfoliater. Though really finding one for that is better then what the homemade will do, but try it and see. Dont use it everyday though.
