Is Cold Water Necessary when washing face?

To keep acne at bay, I usually wash my face with warm water and soap. But, afterwards I never considered cold water to close the pores back up. Is this necessary? Is Cold Water Necessary when washing face?
It certainly helps. If you dont close the pores your just letting more things in.Is Cold Water Necessary when washing face?
YEA ITS NECESSAR.. OPEN PORES.. SUCKS IN DIRT DUH.. USE HOT WATER TO OPEN.. COLD TO CLOSE.. ITS SO NECESSARY!!!!!!!!!! DO U WANT UR ACNE WORSE??
i wash my face with hot water...i believe it kill all the germs and stuff...it works for me...i don't have acne!
The best way to wash your face is with hot then cold water. Use really hot water to wash you face. The hot water opens up your pores for cleansing. Then rinse with cold water to close the pores so not to leave them open.
well actually soap is not going to help the acne.. it instead adds to the causes of it.. Normal soap is too harsh for your face and dries it out relatively easy.. A dry face is more likely to be hit by bacteria, oil and dirt..

Best thing to do is to keep with the warm water but get a cleanser that is made for your face, followed with a toner to clean off residual dirt and oil and shrink your pores..
